This eLearning course and accompanying resources is designed to support you in developing your critical reading skills. The pre-cursor course to this is the Academic Reading course which provides fundamental skills of academic reading.
Key topics covered include:
- Defining critical reading
- Understanding credible sources
- Strategies to read critically
- Critiquing sources of literature, research articles and statistical data
There are also a number of checklists that can help prompt considerations to be made when critiquing sources which can be downloaded.
