• Phase 3: Group and Independent Activities

    There are some activities that you will need to complete by the end of the semester. 

    Essential activities include:
    • Near to Reading Week, you should have attended a Library workshop on how to access OpenAthens to access eBooks, journals and reports. You will do a deep dive into understanding how to effectively use our systems to help you research appropriate sources of reference for your assignments. 
    • Read information on assessments, marking and feedback. More information will follow later in the semester. 
    • Prior to your first assignment submission (November time), you will learn how to submit assignments using ATS2 (note, ITE students will also use a different system). The instructions can be found in the document below.
    • Completing the Academic Integrity and Referencing eLearning module before your first assignment. Please ensure that you choose the referencing system that is adopted by your course.

    You will find a checklist below to help remind you of what activities you need to undertake in this phase and you can tick these off as you complete them. You might review these in your pastoral tutorials with your Course Leader too. Feel free to add your own activities to this checklist if you like too.
