Module Description

This module rests upon the understanding that effective business administration and management must be in the context of, and be able to adapt to, wider developments in the business environment: political, economic, social, technological and legal.  The module will: a) provide students with an analytical understanding of the environmental context within which business administration is practised; and b) trace the impact of business environment developments which are dependent upon core management functions, especially marketing and human resources.  Learning will be developed through consideration of relevant business scenarios; such as the impact of technological and demographic change upon a contemporary marketing campaign.
