Module Description

This module is designed to introduce the student to the selection and recruitment process within business organisations. This will include the development of job analysis and an understanding of the tools and processes used for selection and recruitment. An awareness of application procedures will also be developed. The module will encompass knowledge of legal aspects relating to recruitment.

  1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the recruitment process
  2. Produce an induction programme for a new employee
  3. Explain the appraisal system for employers and employees
  4. Understand the importance of record keeping
